Give students all the skills they need to succeed
Students need to be prepared for their next steps
Our curriculum provides foundational social and emotional skills that students need to be successful in school and in life.
Each lab contains an engaging video along with discussion questions and interactive exercises. Lessons not only teach but foster active learning and participation.
Structured 15-minute lessons can be implemented quickly and easily into home room classes or after school programs or used at the beginning of each class.
We provide additional resources including relevant articles and videos, so you never have to search for more content.
Research studies show that SEL improves achievement by an average of 11 percentile points. It increases prosocial behaviors, improves student attitudes toward school, and reduces depression and stress among students.
A Columbia University study from 2015 showed an average benefit-cost, on average, for every $1 invested in SEL programming, there is a return of $11.

What our teachers are saying
The entire service offered by Launchpad Labs is targeted directly to fill the skills gap clearly indicated by research for employability, as noted by the employers themselves. The soft skills training is the key issue with new hire selection and upward mobility. Just an ingenious business model to offer the training online via video modules for the participants–learn as much and as often as one can. Wave for the future, perhaps?!

Wow! Thank you LauchPad Labs. I too have recognized the need to assist students in recognizing and developing those “soft skills” that are so essential for success in today’s world. I have struggled to find a good, organized way of bringing those lessons into the classroom until I learned about your curriculum. I think this curriculum is essential for our high school students and have had great success using some of the labs with my with my 6th-grade students. I really like the concept of the One Piece of Advice notebook as it encourages students to open up a similar dialogue at home.
